The session will include an introduction to various Greek Christmas traditions, listening to Carols from different areas of Greece, making Greek Christmas crafts and preparing one of the most popular holiday desserts, kourampiedes from scratch.
The workshop is organised and run by Olga Fakatseli & Amaryllis Tsegou, founders of the Hellenic Hub and baking enthusiasts. Olga has a professional background in the area of folk customs and traditions, and a great experience in organising baking birthday parties for her two young children and others, whilst Amaryllis has organised many cooking classes both in London and in Athens, while also running a successful food blog, The Tasty Other.
