The Hellenic Hub brings a morning full of surprises for our little friends. This workshop aims at exploring Christmas Greek traditions, practicing Greek language and building confidence in communicating in Greek. The event will include Greek Christmas songs, presentation of traditions, kourambiedes making and cookie baking. Full planning of the day includes:10.30 – 10.40 Icebreaking discussion / questions10.45 – 11 illustrated presentation, Christmas traditions11 – 12.45 demonstration how to make kourambiedes12.45 – 1.15 (kouambiedes in the oven)

Activities / making little boats etc1.15 – 1.30 Children will eat kourambiedes, parents will be offered coffeeTickets are £15 for adults and £15 per child (adults attending must book their tickets if they are bringing their child, children must be accompanied by an adult)Children/siblings under 3 will not take part in the cooking/workshop but they are welcome to watch.
